Dua Lipa also touched on an important topic today: artificial intelligence. Without giving further details about Apple’s future plans, Cook mentioned that there are currently several features present in the company’s operating systems that already make use of AI, such as predictive text.
Regarding generative AI, the company’s boss was cautious, considering that it could have very positive uses (such as diagnosing health problems) as well as negative ones. He still believes that it needs to have some rules and be regulated in some way by governments. He further added that Apple is trying to help with this.
