Businessman Amr Hindi, in agreement with Tariq Kandil, a member of Al-Ahly’s board of directors, purchased a large number of tickets for the Arab Basketball Championship final match held today in Kuwait, to be distributed to Al-Ahly fans.
Mr. Ezzat Labib also purchased fifty tickets in support of the red fans, and the match will be held at six in the evening, at the Union Hall in the State of Kuwait.
The organizing committee of the Arab Basketball Championship had decided to raise the prices of tickets for the final match of the tournament to twenty Kuwaiti dinars per match, which is close to 1,300 Egyptian pounds, which constituted a major crisis for the fans of the Red Team.
Al-Ahly reached the final match, defeating the Kuwaiti team Kazma 95-91, while Al-Kuwait Al-Kuwait reached the same round, benefiting from its victory over Beirut, Lebanon 84-74.
Al-Ahly is looking for its second crown in the title for the second time in a row, as it was crowned last year at the expense of Kuwait Al-Kuwait when the tournament was held in Alexandria.
