In Donsin, Burkina pushes Meridiam (and France) out of its airport – Jeune Afrique

On August 9, 2023, Burkina Faso decided to terminate the concession agreement of Donsin airport, which linked the State to the consortium made up of Meridiam* and its partner, Aéroport de Marseille Provence (AMP).

French operators pledged to invest more than 220 million euros to design, build and operate the future Burkinabè international airport, located 35 kilometers from the capital, Ouagadougou, and planned to accommodate 1 million passengers per year at its launch in service.
