Accustomed to heartbreaks and other internal quarrels, the Geneva radical left remains faithful to its reputation. As the 2023 cantonal elections approach, strategies are well underway to shape the future of Ensemble on the left, some of the heavyweights of which seceded last year. With a big challenge: to reach the quorum of 7% to stay in the Grand Council where the coalition currently has 9 deputies. A goal just missed in 2005 and 2009 when the different formations, divided, had not made a common list. Consequence: they had disappeared from the hemicycle.
In Geneva, will the radical left leave united in the 2023 elections?
