For seasoned bodysurfers, the name of the spot will not be unknown to you. For others, know that Point Panic is none other than one of the best bodysurfing waves on this planet. Why ? Quite simply because other forms of surfing are prohibited here.
Located on the south coast d’Oahu at Hawaii, this wave can quickly become dangerous if you do not pay attention to the breakwater located at its end and towards which the swell throws you. In last julyfrom 16 au 18 to be precise, the spot was hit (like others) by the famous swell Code Red II.
The result ? A historic day for local bodysurfers.
