In honor of Saint Leonhard, horses and riders parade through Sarleinsbach

The Riding Club and the Sarleinsbach Comradeship Association are expecting around 100 riders, who are organizing the Leonhardi ride in the usual manner. This will once again become one of the largest traditional rides in Austria. Horses and riders move through the town to the Leonhard Chapel on Pfaffenberg, where there is a horse blessing. Of course, the priest also traditionally travels to the blessing on horseback.

New this year is an award: the group of riders who travel the furthest and the largest group of riders will be rewarded with a rider’s snack.

Traditionally, the Leonhardi Kirtag also takes place on this day. Catering with live music takes place in the riding hall. In the community hall there is a children’s disco and face painting for younger visitors.
