Last week, former board member of PEC Zwolle, Danny van den Berg, passed away. Van den Berg was a board member for almost ten years between 1995 and 2004, successively under chairman Gaston Sporre and chairman Ronald van Vliet.
Van den Berg was also a sponsor of the club for many years with his company Hillhout. Many Zwolle residents will remember Hillhout’s recognizable advertising tune, which was played at half-time every home game. Danny van den Berg is 79 years old.
PEC Zwolle offers its condolences to the relatives for this great loss and wishes them all the strength.
