Charles Apanon has just left us. This Martinican, a visionary financier, was director of Iédom in Martinique, but also in Guadeloupe and Guyana. He knew and loved our territories well. To pay tribute to him, as a legacy, we remember a speech he gave in 2010 during a Convergence meeting. He then said that the Antilles-Guyana had to react, otherwise they would become poorer. The events which are paralyzing Guyana and the sluggish activity in Guadeloupe and Martinique unfortunately prove him right.
