The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Mali set up in early July 2022, in the Ménaka region, mobile clinics tobring health and nutrition services to local communities. The aim of this action is to “prevent and respond to the malnutrition crisis” according to UNICEF.
It must be remembered that the 11 July, threats and intimidation by armed men displaced dozens of households in Tinabaw village near Menaka town. Several dozen households moved into the town after nine civilians were killed by armed groups.
