In the park of Friendship of the city of Moscow, an annual subbotnik was held at the monument to Manas. About this edition vb.kg said the chairman of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Russia, Kubanychbek Osmonbekov.
According to him, the event was attended by employees of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz diaspora community in Moscow.
“Subbotnik began with reading the Koran and blessing the aksakals living in the city of Moscow. They cleaned the allocated area of the park around the monument to Manas, cleaned and washed the monument itself.
They also held a lesson of the educational center “MIRVAM” for children of compatriots about the epic Manas, its heroes and characters, our ancient national customs and traditions, knowledge of proverbs and sayings, reading poems in their native language on various topics.
The event ended with a photo session in front of the monument and a treat of the national cuisine of compatriots,” Osmonbekov said.
