In terms of vehicle types, in November, the production and sales of passenger cars were 2.705 million units and 2.604 million units, respectively, an increase of 7.6% and 4.7% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 25.6% and 25.3% respectively. From January to November, the production and sales of passenger cars were 23.441 million units and 23.272 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 8% and 9.3% respectively.
In terms of commercial vehicles, in November, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 388,000 units and 366,000 units, respectively, an increase of 2.6% and 0.3% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 64.9% and 44.6% respectively. Among the main types of commercial vehicles, compared with the previous month, the production and sales of passenger cars achieved rapid growth, while the production and sales of trucks increased slightly and sales decreased slightly. Compared with the same period last year, the production and sales of passenger cars and trucks both showed double-digit growth. From January to November, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 3.671 million and 3.666 million respectively, a year-on-year increase of 25.4% and 21.8% respectively.
In terms of new energy vehicles, from January to November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 8.426 million and 8.304 million respectively, a year-on-year increase of 34.5% and 36.7% respectively, and the market share reached 30.8%.
In addition, from January to November, the market share of Chinese brand passenger cars was 55.8%, a year-on-year increase of 6.6 percentage points; from January to November, the sales volume of domestically produced high-end brand passenger cars reached 4.034 million units, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%.
In terms of exports, from January to November, the export volume of passenger vehicles was 3.72 million units, a year-on-year increase of 65.1%; the export volume of commercial vehicles was 692,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%. In terms of power system type, in the first 11 months of this year, the export volume of traditional fuel vehicles was 3.32 million units, a year-on-year increase of 51.5%; the export volume of new energy vehicles was 1.091 million units, a year-on-year increase of 83.5%.
From the perspective of corporate performance, from January to November, among the top ten complete vehicle exporters, in terms of growth rate, BYD exported 216,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 3.6 times; Chery exported 837,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times; Great Wall’s export volume was 283,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 84.8%.
Talking about the sales forecast for the whole year, the relevant person in charge of the China Automobile Association said that as the effects of the policies continue to appear, auto shows and promotional activities in various places continue to be vigorous, coupled with the closing sprint of enterprises in the last month, it is expected that the “tail-driving” phenomenon at the end of the year will reappear, and the whole industry will Annual automobile production and sales are expected to hit a record high.
