Representatives from 15 countries will take part in it.
In 2023, 15 countries will take part in the III International Financial Security Olympiad, the final of which will be held on October 2-6 in the Sirius federal territory.
As the Deputy Prime Minister noted Dmitry Chernyshenkoon behalf of the President, this year the Center for Inter-Olympiad Training of Schoolchildren and Students was created, one of the key tasks of which is the development of the Olympiad.
Particular attention, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, should be given to attracting children and youth from the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. It is planned to increase the number of stages of the Olympiad. For the first time, the so-called invitational stage will be held, which will allow anyone who wants to try their hand at solving problems in the field of financial security. The number of countries hosting national olympiads will also increase.
The winners will have the opportunity without exams to enter a specialized direction in universities – participants of the International Network Institute in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism.
The International Olympiad is being held for the third time. In 2022, schoolchildren and students from 12 countries took part in it. 223 people became prizewinners and winners in 2021-2022.
