Abu Shakra: The stock is enough for four or five days

In parallel, the representative of fuel distributors, Fadi Abu Shaqra, announced in an interview with Al-Jadeed that the fuel stockpile in Lebanon is sufficient for four or five days, noting that several contacts took place yesterday with companies and the Minister of Energy.

He pointed out that the table of fuel prices has not yet been issued according to the global rise in the price of oil, stressing that the increases in fuel prices are not local but global.

Oil sources: there is a shortage of the material

Oil sources had said in an interview with Voice of Lebanon that the fuel market is witnessing a shortage of gasoline, which will lead to the closure of a number of stations on the weekend, and the same applies to diesel, which is not available in a way that covers the local market until Monday.

She attributed the reason to the failure to issue a daily price synthesis schedule for oil derivatives, as was agreed upon between the oil importing companies and the Minister of Energy, in light of the rapid fluctuations in the price of a barrel of oil globally.

The sources pointed out that a number of ships arrived at the Lebanese coast, but the cost of the goods on board is very high in relation to the prices of oil derivatives in the latest price-setting table.
