The standoff between the manager of the Kabana Beach restaurant-bar located on Souffleur beach and the city of Port-Louis continues. Due to non-compliance with a municipal decree which prohibited the holding of its evening of December 31, 2022, the manager is asked to cease all operations for 4 months. A prefectural decision which provoked many reactions on social networks and the posting of a petition to “save the Kabana”.
