One or the other Rieder has probably noticed since the first weekend of the folk festival: it is no longer dark in the urban area of Rieder. From mid-December last year, almost the entire street lighting in the Rieder urban area was switched off due to the high energy prices. For the time of the folk festival, the municipality was practically obliged to turn on the lights once more.
