Russian retailers name several reasons why smartphones are more expensive in their stores:

- The buyer receives a guarantee from the seller;
- There is a possibility of warranty repair and maintenance of the device;
- It is possible to buy a smartphone by bank transfer, on credit and in installments;
- Receipt of a cashier’s check;
- Opportunity to participate in the trade-in program (exchange of an old device for a new one at a discount).
Most merchants from “Gorbushka” bring iPhone from the UAE. From there they fly directly to Russia or through the CIS countries. Note that you will not receive any guarantee from the manufacturer or from the seller when buying such a smartphone.
