May 20: 31st edition of Ironman Lanzarote

Lanzarote Ironman is considered one of the toughest races in its category. Participants will have to complete 3.8 kilometers of swimming, 180.2 kilometers of cycling and 42.2 kilometers of running, in the heart of the magnificent landscapes of the volcanic island. The event is a qualifier for the Ironman 2023 World Championship.

From June 8 to 19: The Tenerife Bluetrail

One of the most anticipated events for trail enthusiasts is back for its twelfth edition. It will include this year, 10 options including three new ones. A family race, one for children and another specially designed for the youngest runners join the 7 traditional categories to constitute the largest race in Spain; athletes of different levels will be able to participate. Its longest stretch is 104 kilometers, and crosses the Teide National Park.

June 10: La Palma celebrates the Swimming Crossing again

The island of La Palma celebrates its tenth edition of the Swimming Crossing this June 10 with a 17-kilometre course in which open water swimming professionals will dive. In addition, the 4 kilometer race will be a stage of the official open water swimming competitions of the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation and the Canary Islands Swimming Federation.

From August 24 to 26: The Famara Total of Lanzarote prepares its eighth edition

The Famara Total mountain race will be held on August 24, 25 and 26. It is one of the most important races in the Canary Islands. Teguise thus becomes the epicenter of the world of trail running for a few days, during which participants can enjoy sport as a family, with specific activities for the youngest.
