In the coming days it will become like summer warmth

The coming night will still be cool. Slight cloudiness and light wind are expected, the air temperature will drop to -2..+4 degrees.

On Saturday the sun will warm the air to +14..+17 degrees, in some places on the coast it will not be warmer than +11 degrees. Cumulonimbus clouds will form, which will bring scattered showers in places. More rain is expected later in the evening in the central part of the country, where thunderstorms with gusty winds are possible locally.

On Sunday, the air temperature will drop to +2..+7 degrees at sunrise and rise to +17..+21 degrees in the afternoon, and on Monday and Tuesday in many places it will reach +22..+24 degrees. Cool weather will remain on parts of the coast.

These days, a weak to moderate southerly wind will prevail. On Wednesday and the following days, a northerly wind is more likely, which may bring colder temperatures.

Next week the weather is expected to be mostly sunny, with occasional showers on some days.

Along with the arrival of warm air masses, the amount of ozone in the stratosphere will gradually decrease, so the intensity of ultraviolet radiation from the Sun will become moderately high next week in Latvia. If you remain in the sun in the middle of the day and are not careful, people with particularly sensitive skin can get a sunburn within half an hour.
