Maraya Hall, located in AlUla, hosted for the second time the chapters of the historical play “Jamil and Buthaina,” as part of the “Winter at Tantora” activities.
As revealed to Al-Riyadiyah by event officials yesterday, the historical play presented itself to the audiences in a new look. The Saudi poet Fahd Al-Musaed participated in writing the lyrics for its introduction, and Abdulaziz Al-Maani composed it, and the young artist Zeina Imad performed a number of songs in it. The events of the play “Jamil and Buthaina,” whose paintings were designed and performed by the Lebanese Caracalla troupe, revolve around the story of love between the poet Jamil bin Muammar and his beloved, Buthaina bint Hayyan, who lived in Al-Ula.
