The next update of the Telegram messenger may introduce a number of new features. It is reported Telegram channel “Durov’s Code” with a link to files found in Messenger 9.3 (30029) beta for Android, and Telegram channel “Dvach”.
In particular, it will be possible to hide group members (from 100 members), which only the administrator will see, and only non-anonymous admins will be visible to other users.
In the “Data and memory” section, there will be an option to auto-delete the cache for personal chats, groups and channels individually, as well as the ability to add chats and channels to exceptions so that the cache is not cleared in them.
The update provides the ability to place a separate avatar for those who are not allowed to view the main avatar. It will also be possible to upload an avatar for a contact or a temporary avatar for a contact without an avatar.
The media editor will also be updated and it will be possible to create spoilers for photos and videos.
In addition, it will be possible to send uncompressed photos to Telegram Desktop with a size of 2560 pixels on the larger side (now only up to 1280 pixels is possible).
