Tom Anderson, Rodrigo Ābols, Dans Ločmelis, Miks Tumānovs and Mārtiņš Dzierkals scored goals for the Latvian national team.

In the fourth minute, Enzo Corvi sent the puck into the goal from the blue line. The goalkeeper of the Latvian national team Ivars Punnenovs was covered.

Also, Kaspars Daugavins blocked the view of the visiting goalkeeper Leonardo Dženoni, when Anderson scored the goal in the 15th minute from the passes of Ābol and Daugavins with a shot from five meters.

Latvia took the lead in the 28th minute, when Ābols beat Dženoni in front of the goal with a shot in the upper right corner of the goal, Anderson and Ronald Kēniņas earning assists.

In the 42nd minute, the Swiss made a mistake with a pass behind their own goal, the puck was intercepted by Miks Indrašis, who passed it in front of the goal to Dan Lochmel, who sent it into the upper right corner of the goal without handling – 3:1.

Shortly after that, the puck went into Punnenova’s goal, but the Swiss hockey player, after the puck bounced off the edge of the goal, put it into the goal with his foot, and the goal was not counted.

Although Switzerland tried to attack, in the 52nd minute Miks Tumanovs made it 4:1. The defender moved closer to the goal from the blue line on the left side of the field, leaving the opponent to his left on the way with a deceptive movement, and sent the puck into the left corner of the goal.

Mārtiņš Dzierkals scored 5:1 with a shot from the opponent’s blue line into an empty net.

In the first mutual test match on Friday, the Swiss hockey players won 5:3.

The Latvian national team will conclude the preparation phase on May 4 with a game against the Danish hockey team.
