Al-Marsad Newspaper: An employee of the Medical Rehabilitation Center at Dammam Medical Complex, Dr. Hussein Al-Halal, revealed the number of amputations this year.
Al-Halal said, during his appearance on Al-Ikhbariya TV, that the number of amputations reached 155 this year, and the highest percentage is for men.
He added that the main reason for amputations is diabetes, and then accidents, and both things can be prevented by controlling diabetes and adhering to traffic rules.
