Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center of the General Authority of Meteorology, said that the extremely hot weather will continue until the end of the week due to the air masses coming from the desert of the Arabian Peninsula, where the perceived temperature in Cairo reaches 37 degrees.
Ghanem added to Masrawy, today, Tuesday, that the temperature rises by regarding 3 degrees, as Cairo is 35 degrees, Al-Massousa is 37 degrees, the northern coasts are 35 degrees, and the southern regions are between 43 and 44 degrees.
And she continued, “The weather will be hot on the northern coasts and very hot in Cairo until the southern regions, and it will continue at this rate until the end of the week.”
She emphasized that the fall season is known for its sharp and rapid weather fluctuations in its first half. It may witness waves of rising temperatures, which we are witnessing this week.
Ghanem explained: With the evening periods, the sunset hours and the early hours of the night, we feel the peak of wind activity, with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km per hour, in most regions of the Republic, which leads to our feeling of lower humidity, so we feel lower temperatures.
