With the aim of guaranteeing the health of the people, this Thursday the internal medicine hospitalization ward was inaugurated, located on the third floor of the Rafael Medina Jimenez de Pariata Hospitalreported through the social network X, the governor of the state of La Guaira, Jose Alejandro Teranwhen taking a tour of the hospital together with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutierrez Vina.
Governor José Alejandro Terán stressed that with today’s inauguration, “La Guaira reaches an availability of 40 internal medicine beds. We are committed to strengthening the National Public Health System in the state and with the support of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro and the articulated work with the Minister of Health, we have achieved great achievements”.

The new space will have 20 hospitalization beds in addition to the 14 available in the shock trauma observation area, to cover the care demand of the pulmonology, cardiology and internal medicine specialties.
In addition, routine activities are resumed in the trauma service whose hospitalization area had been occupied during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have already covered the demand for chemotherapy infusion rooms throughout the state, and now we are going to respond to radiotherapy. It is an ambitious project, but we are going to achieve it,” Terán said.
For her part, Minister Magaly Gutiérrez announced that in two months the intelligent operating rooms will be inaugurated in the Hospital Periférico de Pariata, to improve the training of surgical residents.
