According to a press release sent to the editorial office by the Institute of Culture and Arts of the Trujillo State (Incaet), it is reported that since Monday, August 12, the Open Schools Plan 2024 began in the Valera municipality, at the headquarters of the Juan Germán Roscio Educational Unit, located in the La Floresta sector, Mercedes Díaz parish.

This activity had the cultural support of the Segundo Joaquín Delgado School of Performing Arts, the Comprehensive Center for the Arts (CIAV), the Gladys Mota Ballet and Dance School, the Red de Arte Foundation of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and the Andrés Bello Library, dependent on the Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Government of Trujillo State (Incaet), under the presidency of Professor Temistocles Cabezas Morales, Sole Authority for Culture and the General Director of Incaet, Angélica D’Santiago.

There was also a gastronomic exhibition, an exhibition of musical instruments, wooden toys, books from the Arturo Cardozo Publishing Fund, as well as group dynamics, face painting, recreational and educational activities, in coordination with the different regional organizations.

The cultural event entitled “Pinceladas” is scheduled for Thursday, August 15, starting at 8:00 am. It will take place at the aforementioned school and will include a theater presentation, a crafts show, and rag dolls.
