Incident at Paris-Orly Airport: Airbus A330 Collides with Jetway – Shocking Video

2023-11-04 11:38:00

Shock on the tarmac. This Friday, November 3, at Paris-Orly airport (Val-de-Marne), an Airbus A330 from the French airline Corsair was scheduled to take off at 4:10 p.m. sharp to take the passengers of flight SS984 to Abidjan (Ivory Coast). This was without taking into account five hours of delay… caused by an incident: the plane hit a passenger jetway.

The video of the collision, which shows the left engine of the Airbus A330 slowly advancing towards the bridge then hitting it, has therefore made the rounds on social networks. The plane was apparently towed by another machine, causing the collision.

Fortunately, the gangway was empty at the time of impact. Although no injuries were reported, an Orly airport employee still had a scare: located behind the footbridge, he had to move away at full speed to avoid being hit by the reckless plane.
