The atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment on the beaches of Cartagena was marred by an unfortunate episode of intolerance, where two masseuses got into a violent fight over a tip given by a foreign tourist.
The altercation, witnessed by several witnesses, broke out after the tourist made an additional payment to one of the masseuses, after receiving a massage.
Apparently, this generated envy in the other masseuse, who would have tried to take the money for herself.
The argument quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, sparking a fight.

The captured images show how the two women confront each other, completely ignoring the presence of the client who had just received their services.
Despite the attempts of some people to separate them, the fight continued until the masseuses finally left the place.
This incident, added to other episodes of violence recorded in the city, has generated concern among the authorities and has affected the image of Cartagena as a tourist destination.
According to Dane figures, the city has experienced a 12.3% decrease in real income from tourist accommodation compared to the previous year.
