A 22-year-old was seriously stabbed in Ternitz (Neunkirchen district, Lower Austria) on Friday, the police said on Saturday.
The incident on the outskirts of Peterskirtag is said to have been preceded by a verbal argument with a 44-year-old from the Neunkirchen district. The victim was taken to the Wiener Neustadt hospital following emergency medical treatment. Police say his life is not in danger.
Cobra officers arrested suspects
The 44-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday by officers from the Cobra task force. He was taken to Wiener Neustadt Prison. When first questioned, he did not confess.
