The first driver intervened, but was nudged. That’s when our security team arrived. The man fled but he was able to be arrested by the police, ”reports the spokesperson.

The two tram drivers were taken to hospital. One of them suffered a contusion, the other was in shock following these events. The Stib will file a complaint once morest the aggressor, it is specified.

The second incident took place on Wednesday followingnoon. A sleeping passenger was discovered in a metro arriving at the Jacques Brel depot. “This man was escorted by a security team, but when the same team came out of the depot, shortly following, the same man sprayed them with a spray, probably pepper,” says Guy Sablon. “One of our employees had to go to the hospital for treatment. The assailant might be apprehended”.
