Increase in prepaid medicine confirmed: how much will have to be paid in August, October and December

The government confirmed that medicine fees prepaid will increase in august other 11,34%. The raises will be also in october and decemberaccording to the result of the Health Cost Index.

Through resolution 1293/2022 of the Ministry of Healthit was determined that the fees for private medicine will increase in August for the seventh time in 2020 and established the bimonthly adjustment mechanism that will be applied later.

How much will prepaids increase in August

According to what the Ministry of Health agreed with the companies that are part of the National Registry of Prepaid Medicine Entities, the increase in August will be 11.34%.

With the increase in July, and the one authorized from August 1, the accumulated increase will reach 68,5%.

Thus, in the month of August, a family plan, a married couple with two children, will cost between $40.000 y $60.000 monthly.

The next rises in prepaid medicine fees will follow the Health Cost Indexwhich is the sum of the costs of medicines, medical supplies, salaries set by the parity and general expenses incurred by the Superintendence of Health Services.

Water, groups and schools, among the increases of the month of July
