Tourist overnight stays in classified accommodation establishments in the city of Meknes increased by 37.43% at the end of March, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Some 40,197 overnight stays were recorded during the first three months of 2023, compared to 29,247 overnight stays during the same period of 2022, according to data from the National Tourism Observatory (ONT).
As for arrivals in classified hotels, they reached 26,732 at the end of March 2023, against 19,018 during the same period of the previous year, an increase of 40.56%. The month of March alone recorded at the level of the city of Meknes an increase of 16.88% compared to the same month of the year 2022, with a total of some 14,302 overnight stays. Tourist overnight stays in classified accommodation establishments in the Fez-Meknes region increased by 83.48% during the 1st quarter of the current year 2023, compared to the same period of the year before.
