Kuwait City: The Kuwait Municipality has come up with a plan to beautify the national capital. The Standing Committee approved the preparation of a project plan for urban beautification. The aim of the municipality is to enable the development of the capital city in a manner that is in tune with Kuwait’s heritage, way of life and environment.
The project aims at economic, cultural development and tourism potential. The Purchase Committee of the Municipality has allocated funds for the preparation of a project plan for the development and beautification of the Capital City with appropriate renovations. The amount was sanctioned on the condition that the project design and study be completed within ten months. The committee also directed to obtain various government approvals in this regard in a timely manner. The municipality has decided to include the beautification project in the budget for the next financial year.
