Joshua Dasilva (10th), Mathias Jensen (18th), Ben Mee (30th) and Bryan Mbuemo scored all four goals for the ‘Bees’ in the first half, taking advantage in particular of individual errors and defensive largesse from the Mancunians. At rest, Erik ten Hag, the Mancunian coach, made three changes but the ‘Red Devils’ did not manage to reduce the mark. Already beaten 1-2 by Brighton last Sunday, Manchester United therefore begin their championship with two defeats in as many games before receiving Liverpool for the third day on Monday August 22 at 9:00 p.m.
