Barbados: The West Indies have announced their squad for the West Indies tour of India 2022 (IND vs WI T20I Series). Kieron Pollard will be captained by a 16 – member squad. In the West Indies vs England T20I Series once morest England, the best performers were retained. The T20 series, which starts on February 16, has three matches.
Pollard has been named in the squad for the ODI series. 11 players featured in both Windies squads. In addition to Pollard, there are Fabian Allen, Darren Bravo, Jason Holder, Shy Hope, Achilles Hossain, Brandon King, Nicholas Puran, Romero Shepherd, Odin Schmidt and Hayden Walsh. The Windies won the series 3-2. However, Shimron Hetmeyer was not considered for the squad due to fitness issues.
The T20 matches will be played in Kolkata on the 16th, 18th and 20th. The ODIs will be played in Ahmedabad on February 6, 9 and 11.
