Bahrain: An Indian doctor was expelled from a private hospital in Bahrain for posting hate speech against Palestine on social media.
Sunil J., a doctor in the department of internal medicine in a private hospital. It was Rao who made hateful posts on social media in favor of Israel and against Palestine.
The hospital management informed that the doctor was dismissed because of his activities in violation of social etiquette and institutional rules.
After widespread criticism, the doctor apologized on social media.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted on X that he held talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Modi had clarified that the discussions took place after severe criticisms were raised against Modi’s stance of supporting Israel.
He also said that the Ministry of External Affairs of India informed that it would be difficult to evacuate the four Indians trapped in Gaza and that steps would be taken to bring them back when given the opportunity.
