Hangzhou: India entered the quarter-finals of the Asian Games men’s volleyball. In the playoffs, they beat Chinese Taipei in three one-sided sets. Score: 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.
India will face strong and defending champions Japan in Sunday’s quarterfinals. The team entered the playoffs as pool winners, defeating Cambodia and last season’s silver medalists South Korea. This is the first time since 2014 that India have reached the quarterfinals.
