The security reinforcement is designed to anticipate unfolding security developments across the capital. The operation began on November 2, 2026, with the deployment of 2,100 personnel already stationed within Jakarta.

Four-Stage Deployment Across Indonesia

The initial deployment drew from the Marine Corps, Fleet Command I, Regional Naval Command III, and the Military Sealift Command. Subsequent phases bring in thousands of additional troops from across the archipelago using warships and land transport.

On November 4, 2026, the Navy will deploy an additional 5,740 personnel from outside Jakarta through the second and third stages. These forces originate from Fleet Command II, Marine Force 2, the Naval Aviation Centre, the Naval Education and Training Command, the Naval Academy, and naval bases located in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Lampung.

A final fourth stage places 13,140 personnel from Naval Headquarters and local Jakarta units on full alert at their home bases. These troops remain available to provide immediate support to the security operation if conditions require additional force.
