The program offers foreign investors five or ten-year stays, depending on their investment level. In return, participants enjoy a range of benefits, including expedited immigration procedures, quicker passage through international airports, and exemption from the requirement to apply for a limited stay permit. “Visa services contribute the largest share,accounting for 56 percent of the total non-tax state revenue received by the Directorate General of Immigration,” explained Jaya Saputra,Director of Residence permits and Immigration Status. The program’s success highlights the growing importance of investment-based immigration initiatives and their contribution to national revenue streams.

While visas on arrival dominated the landscape, other visa categories also played a role. These included 420,529 single-entry visit visas,43,292 multiple-entry visit visas,and 62,630 limited-stay visas,catering to a diverse range of traveler needs.
