The Complaints and Denunciations Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE) determined precautionary measures against the head of government, Claudia Sheinbuamafter his participation in the event in the Monument to the Revolution.
The OTHER considered in a preliminary way that after the participation of the head of government in the event, the principles of impartiality and neutrality are contravened, since she gave a speech in which she made repeated references to the electrical reform project presented by the president of the Republic to the Congress of the Unionenumerating the advantages and benefits it offers, as well as openly inviting the attendees and the general public to participate in the next Mandate Revocation Day.
The Institute ordered that, immediately, within a period that may not exceed three hours, carry out the actions, procedures and steps necessary to eliminate 49 social media postsas well as any other electronic or printed platform under its domain, control or administration, and must report its compliance, within six hours after this occurs, from various officials, including the head of government.
The sanction was determined after the parties National Action (PAN) and the Democratic Revolution (PRD) filed a complaint related to the event held on April 6 at the Monument to the Revolution.
