Infirmary: Optimism for Verratti and Benfica / PSG

Injured once morest OL before the international break, Marco Verratti has not yet resumed training but he is much better and will not play once more on Saturday once morest Nice but the club is optimistic regarding his participation in Benfica / PSG the following Wednesday.

Called up to the Italian selection but unable to honor this summons because of injury, Marco Verratti has still not resumed training with PSG when there are only two sessions left before PSG / Nice on Saturday (9 p.m.) . The Italian midfielder will not be able to play in any case since he is suspended, but his left calf injury is still better according to information from the newspaper Le Parisien, which gives a big update on the post-international break workforce.

If Verratti is still not with his partners during the current sessions, he “is recovering well and must partially resume training in the coming days” according to the regional newspaper. Better still, the club is optimistic regarding its participation in the very important Benfica Lisbon / PSG on Wednesday October 5 in Portugal. In other words, the Italian midfielder has a week ahead of him to be ready.

Renato Sanches close to a comeback, Kimpembe not really

Another midfielder injured in recent weeks, Renato Sanches is doing better and has recently taken part in group sessions, but he does not do all of the training with his partners, a sign that he is not yet 100% recovered from his muscular problems which occurred at the beginning of the month. If PSG / Nice therefore perhaps arrives a little too early for the Portuguese who is still looking for his place in Paris, he should on the other hand be suitable for Benfica / PSG, a match that is close to his heart since it will be a homecoming for him.

The last player in the infirmary, Presnel Kimpembe, however, will not be from this Benfica / PSG for sure. If the last echoes evoked a return following next October 25, the regional newspaper assures that the central defender hopes on the contrary to find the competition during this week in question. As a reminder, PSG receives Haifa on Tuesday 25th then Troyes on Saturday 29th October.
