Inflation compensation: administrative hiccup, thousands of beneficiaries deprived of 100 euros

Several thousand beneficiaries have still not received the inflation allowance of 100 euros. We explain why and who is affected.

They can connect to their bank account in vain: still nothing. If self-employed workers, recipients of social minima (active solidarity income, allowance for disabled adults, housing allowance, etc.) and people registered with Pôle Emploi began to receive inflation compensation, during December for the self-employed and at the end January for the others, some have still not received this famous bonus of 100 euros.

Are concerned : individuals combining several of these statusesin particular self-entrepreneurs benefiting from the RSA, as well as those registered with Pôle emploi.

What explains this imbroglio?

Capital explains on its website that “the administration did not anticipate their situation“. Indeed, for the self-employed to be able to receive the 100 euros promised by the government, they must have been active in October 2021. The “classic” self-employed must have declared an activity income lower than 2,000 euros net per month for 2020, specify our colleagues.If they created their activity between January and October 2021, the State considers that they automatically meet the criteria of resources to receive the inflation allowance.

For auto-entrepreneurs, in addition to the ceiling set at 2,000 euros net per month, a minimum income is required, namely 900 euros net of turnover between January 1 and September 30, 2021, i.e. at least 100 euros net per month on average. However, problem, with the health crisis, some auto-entrepreneurs could not collect revenues of 900 euros net between the beginning of January and the end of September last, recalls Capital.

Concerning self-employed job seekers, such as RSA beneficiaries, those who did not meet the minimum turnover criteria were not able to receive inflation compensation from Urssaf.

Impossible for these individuals to know if it is the Urssaf or Pôle Emploi which must pay them the 100 euros premium. So it’s hard to know where to turn to explain the problem…

What Pôle Emploi says

  • You were:
  • Either actively looking for a job;

  • Your allowances or replacement income paid by Pôle emploi were less than €2,000 net; ·
  • You did not exercise any professional activity in October 2021;
  • You did not receive any income from other organizations in October.

What the Urssaf says

For medical practitioners and auxiliaries, the aid will be paid directly by Urssaf.

The allowance will be paid if the self-employed worker was active during the month of October 2021 and if his average earned income received is less than €2,000 net per month for the year 2020.

Last deadline this month

If you are retired and meet the two mandatory conditions, the inflation bonus of 100 euros will be paid to you in February 2022. No specific date has yet been announced.
