Expensive shock without end!
In November, prices in Germany rose by 10 percent over the year, as the Federal Statistical Office announced on Tuesday. Another double digit increase! In the previous month, the inflation rate had reached 10.4 percent, a new 70-year high.
Inflation is now taking hold, driving up prices across the board – no longer just for petrol, heating oil and gas. Georg Thiel, President of the Federal Statistical Office: “We are increasingly observing price increases for many other goods besides energy.”
