A 22-year-old digital influencer was arrested this Thursday (4/20) on suspicion of encouraging attacks against schools in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais. Adding Instagram and Tiktok, the young woman has more than 4 million followers.

According to information from the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG), the operation ‘Behind the Masks’ carried out preventive arrest and search and seizure warrants at the residence of a 22-year-old woman.
“Investigated for crimes of threat, corruption of minors, incitement to commit crimes, apology for crime and dissemination of information or news that she knows to be false”, says the PCMG.
The investigation takes place after the police have access to videos circulating on the suspect’s social networks, which clearly allude to a threat to schools in the city.
“Where he posted content inciting young people to commit crimes of massacres at schools, threatening students and teachers at a public school in Governador Valadares”, he comments.
The PCMG managed to arrest the woman preventively. At her house, three masks inspired by the character from the movie “The Panic” were found. Two cell phones and a long-sleeved blouse were also seized.
“The young woman is very well known on her social networks for the large number of views on her posts, mainly on the video sharing social media, where she has more than four million followers”, says delegate Márdio Bento Costa.
According to the delegate, she has already been investigated for committing the crime of false identity and ideological falsehood.
302 prisoners and 1,000 ears
The Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, announced that the work of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) against violence in schools will be extended indefinitely. During a press conference at PRF headquarters this Thursday, the 20th, Dino reported that 302 people have already been arrested or apprehended (when the suspect is a minor) by Operation Safe School, launched on April 6 after the attack the day before on a day care center in Blumenau, SC, which resulted in the death of 4 children.
According to the balance sheet, 2,593 incident reports have already been registered for threats related to attacks on schools, 1,738 cases are under investigation and more than a thousand people have been heard by the police. In addition, 270 searches and seizures of weapons and artifacts of extremist groups, such as neo-Nazis, were carried out.
