Leonardo DiCaprio became a world star thanks to the movie “Titanic”. After the legendary tape, his career is only going uphill, while, as it turned out, the artist did not immediately accept the offer of James Cameron.
According to Paul Rudd, a longtime friend of DiCaprio, his young colleague seriously intended to refuse Cameron. The artist was frightened by the scale of the project, the figure of the director and the great responsibility, because before that he had not come across such serious films. DiCaprio revealed his soul to Rudd at one of the gatherings, and he tried to convince the celebrity to accept the offer.
«I said that he must agree, – recalled the star of “Ant-Man” on one of the recent shows.
As a result, the artist pushed all his doubts aside, listened to Rudd and accepted Cameron’s offer. For eight months, DiCaprio participated in the filming, and following the premiere he became one of the main actors in the world.
