NOTTINGHAM, Waspada.co.id – A hurricane of injuries befell Manchester United ahead of the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, Sunday (16/4) evening. Even so, the Red Devils managed to win 2-0.

Initially, coach Erik ten Hag was dizzy seven rounds because Marcel Sabitzer, who was relied on in midfield, was injured during warm-up. As a result, Ten Hag changed the line-up and included Christian Eriksen.

The existence of Eriksen is quite influential in MU’s attack flow. Evidently, Bruno Fernandes was more free to come forward supporting Anthony Martial. In the 32nd minute, Martial put Fernandes’ shot to good use.

The French national team striker’s shot was blocked by Keylor Navas. However, Antony grabbed the ball and changed the score 1-0. Antony was again involved in the Red Devils’ second goal.

Seeing Diogo Dalot’s movements without the ball, Antony handed the ball to the Portugal national team defender. With one touch, Dalot beat Navas for the second time and ensured full points for the hosts.

MU shifted Newcastle United in third place in the standings with 59 points or three points ahead. Arsenal are still comfortably at the top by collecting 74 points. Meanwhile, Forest is still in the red zone with 27 points. (wol/aa/ls/d2)
