Riot Games updated ‘Ink Fable’, the first regular set of 2024, in ‘Team Strategy (TFT)’ on the 20th.
Ink Fable presents in-game content that increases the fun of selection against the backdrop of nature in classical Eastern mythology. Players can dramatically experience the results of strategic composition using various elements in the ink fable.
The new system, ‘Encounter’, is a special round that occurs randomly during the game. There are 2 to 5 encounters in each game, with communal, group, individual, and starting types. Depending on the direction the player chooses, the encounterer provides rewards such as free refreshes, gold, or relic items, or changes the game progress to help with strategic play.
Two new units will also be released. ‘Aphelios’ twin sister ‘Alun’ is a level 3 unit that increases the attack speed of allies in the same row and reduces the magic resistance of enemies. The first level unit, ‘Kovuko’, first appeared in the Runeterra universe and is playable only in TFT. As the player earns interest, Kobuko’s health increases permanently and his spell power also increases in proportion to his total health, making him a powerful tank.
‘Luck’, which converts the luck accumulated through consecutive losses into rewards upon victory, ‘Noble’, which provides additional damage to the entire team in addition to the basic characteristics of each unit, and ‘Kale’, which provides auxiliary and combat effects through a combination centered on ‘Kale’. It showcases characteristics that add fun to strategy composition, such as ‘storyteller’.
Tier 5 units reflect the personality of each champion. ‘Set’ squats with an ally in the same row at the start of the battle, and gains additional attack power per 1,000 squatted stamina. ‘Lisandra’ has effects suitable for the ‘porcelain’ skin, such as putting enemies in a teapot with the ‘Tea Brewing’ skill, stunning them and causing damage.
Starting on the 21st, players can enjoy mini immortal hero Morgana and mini soul flower Ahri, and also experience the newly created ‘rotation shop’. The rotation store is content that allows you to obtain previously introduced decorative elements while playing TFT.
