Innovation in sight at Coca-Cola: soon pumps to replace can dispensers

Coca-Cola at the pump, served in returnable and recyclable bottles, a more reasoned and sustainable way to consume the famous soda. An innovation too, which the company presented on Tuesday in its Research and Development center in Anderlecht. “Packaging now represents more than 40 percent of our CO2 footprint,” says Coca-Cola. “We want to reduce that. By 2025, we want 100% of our packaging to be recyclable or reusable. And for every can or bottle we sell, we will collect or recycle one by 2030.”
