The design of the prototype shelter for bus users designed by Charles Willen and Dominique Paccard in the Rennaz industrial zone took a little over a year. The two Villeneuvois combined their skills to give shape to their creation, baptized with the Latin name of the turtle, in homage to the formation used by the advancing Roman legions protected by their shields. The idea was sketched out in the shed of the now 86-year-old engineer.
