The richest man in India, Mukesh Ambani, held a pre-wedding celebration for his youngest son by inviting Rihanna. The singer of the song ‘Umbrella’ was paid up to 5 million pounds sterling or Rp. 99.3 billion.

Reporting from Forbes, Sunday (3/3/2024), Mukesh Ambani has a net worth of US$ 117 billion or the equivalent of IDR 1,834 trillion (exchange rate of IDR 15,677). His wealth makes him the 9th richest person in the world.
Living in a 27-story house in Mumbai, India, Mukesh Ambani is known to have a glamorous life. He is the son of Dhirubhai Ambani who was the original founder of Reliance Industries and is now continuing it.
Mukesh Ambani is chairman and largest shareholder in the company which operates in the petrochemical, oil and gas, retail and telecommunications sectors. Reliance Industries, based in Mumbai, India, has the largest oil refining complex in the world.
Mukesh Ambani converts Reliance to green energy. The company will invest US$ 80 billion over the next 10-15 years in renewable energy and build a new complex next to its refinery.
Mukesh Ambani’s three children joined the Reliance board in August 2023. Son Akash heads Jio; daughter Isha oversees retail and financial services; and his youngest son, Anant, who is about to get married, is in the energy business.
Apart from Rihanna, it is said that many world celebrities were invited to Mukesh Ambani’s son’s wedding. Starting from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates to members of the Bhutanese Royal family.
