Insider: Nextgen version of The Witcher 3 will be released in late October

CD Projekt RED Announces Nextgen Version The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt back in 2020. The studio promised to release an improved version in the fourth quarter of 2022 (from October to December) and, apparently, this time everything will do without transfers.

Insider PereaAdrien said in his Twitterthat the company has completed the development of the next-gen version, and its release will take place at the end of this month. However, he did not disclose the exact date. The re-release is announced for release on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

Initially, the development was carried out by the St. Petersburg office of Saber Interactive, which had previously successfully ported the game to Switch. At the beginning of 2022, the project was taken away from the team – now CD Projekt RED itself is engaged in it.
